The
German based company Bikefire develops, designs and produces the BF
battery series for the global market. It all started when a super
lightweight battery was needed for the motorbike racing circuit. Due to
reliability, size and weight the battery became so popular that when
word spread to other industries where saving weight plays a significant
role in gaining seconds on opponents, the battery started flying off the
shelves. Bikefire can proudly say that their batteries are now used in
the motorbike racing circuit, DTM car racing, sailing planes, cart
sport, Enduro/Supermoto/Cross racing and speed boat racing and in
helicopters.
Conventional
batteries weigh between 4 kg and 7 kg depending on the make or model.
Not
only the weight plays a large part, but also the size and capacity of
the BF battery.

The
rechargeable BF battery is a complete new development and does NOT have
the typical disadvantages of other rechargeable LiCo and LiMn batteries
of other manufacturers. The BF Series cannot explode or has any problems
while storing it. The BF batteries are capable of high power output.
They can be recharged in record time and are charged up to 80% capacity
in about 15 minutes. They are not sensitive to deep charging or cold.
Further
advantages of the BF battery:
- long storage capacity up to 12 months without power loss
- much longer life span approx. 3-4 times longer than NiMh
- storage possible in any condition
- no explosion possible
- internal charge control
The
cells of every BF battery series are chosen individually according to
voltage, then tested and synchronized manually with the utmost care!
All
components of the BF Battery are developed, produced and assembled in
Germany.
Only parts of the highest quality „Made in Germany„ are
used.

Every battery is individually checked, sealed and numbered according to
our guidelines to guarantee the highest of quality.
The
BF Battery Series is not a mass production from a cheap manufacturer and
wasn’t designed to be a mass article!
Of every series a few prototypes were tested under extreme conditions by
leading motorbike racing teams in Germany and Holland.
